Celebrating 2015!
This has been another great year for Chase Construction NW, Inc! Being in the Puget Sound, we always have to work around the rain. But this summer, we broke records for being hot and dry, which means we were able to service a lot of customers, and roof a lot of homes! Here’s a quick look back on what a great year it was for Chase Construction NW, Inc.!
A New IKO Roof With A View in Seattle
We had a lot of fun this year all around the Puget Sound, here are a few of our favorites! In February, we we re-roofed a home with a beautiful view in the Magnolia neighborhood in Seattle! This home had an existing 3 tab roofing system that was old and failing. Our crew skillfully installed a new IKO Pro4 roofing system and snapped a few shots of the view while they were up there. Surprise Roof Rot in Federal Way
Later we came across a gem in Federal Way. Our crew had the opportunity to show their resilience through roadblocks, and this project as a whole showed the great importance of routine roof maintenance. The homeowners were told that the roof was in relatively good condition but needed to be replaced at some point. They decided get it replaced sooner rather than later, mostly for aesthetic reasons. As we set out to remove the existing shingles, the Walsh family stared in shock as they saw the rotted foundation that their shingles lay on. This is perhaps the scariest aspect of roofing systems – sometimes the damage isn’t even noticeable until the first few layers have been extracted. Needless to say, our crew knew exactly what steps to take to make sure this roof was repaired correctly and beautifully, utilizing the GAF Timberline roofing system. Watch the video here!
Mountain View in Eatonville
Another one of our favorite projects of 2015 was a massive 132 square foot home on which we installed the ASC Skyline 26G 16” pencil ribbed standing seam metal roofing system in weathered copper. To quote the homeowner- “Their crew was wonderful on site. They were on time, worked really hard, picked up their trash, raked for nails, they were friendly, and it was just a great group of hardworkers. We really appreciated them.” We truly appreciate our crew as well, thank you for your dedication to excellence!! With friendly and appreciative home owners, a beautiful home, and an amazing view of Mt Rainier, this project definitely stands out as one of our favorites of 2015! Watch the video here!
Helping a Friend in Need
Lastly, we had the opportunity to show our love for our community this year as well. Our friend John Bachner suffered a nearly fatal accident late last year leaving him in a wheelchair. His new disability proved hard to navigate a two story home and he was force to move to a more accommodating living situation. Unfortunately his new house desperately needed a new roof. Chase Construction NW, Inc. was able to come to the rescue with the help of some friends in the industry. This project was one that showed the philanthropic nature of our industry as TAM donated their skylights, MacArthur Co. provided materials at a considerably reduced rate, and a majority of the workers’ time and labor was provided free of charge. We are proud to be a part of an industry that cares for the community the way that we do! Watch the video here!
