Over combustible decks with no incline limitations, just a single layer of the VersaShield® SOLO™ qualifies the building for a UL Class A Fire rating. This is the highest achievable level of fire protection and the ability to reach it with the application of just one layer shows the durability and excellence of design that has been ingrained in this product. Due to the fact that most comparable products require the piling of multiple layers to achieve the same results, the VersaShield® saves time 
and money on installation costs. This particular fire resistant slip sheet eliminates gypsum-based boards and just one layer of it may produce fire ratings equivalent to gypsum boards at significant labor and material savings. Not only will the VersaShield® SOLO™ reduce the time required for full installation, it also alleviates some of the challenges and struggles associated with installation. The six-foot-wide sheet will cover the roof 50% faster than competitive products. Installers can rest assured on safety aspects of the projects as this product provides a slip resistant walking surface that improves traction on steep slope. Lastly, one layer of Versashield ® Solo™ Fire-resistant slip sheet qualifies as a direct replacement for Elk FB-1S and FB-2S UL Rated Roofing systems.
